What does “painless dentistry” mean?

We are aware that some people have anxiety before seeing the dentist. We practice painless dentistry to make your time in our office as stress- and pain-free as possible.

Do you provide pain-free dental practice?

Yes. We guarantee that your treatment will be comfortable and pain-free. If you experience discomfort, we will stop the procedure immediately to give you additional anesthetic, and we won’t resume until we’re sure you’ll be comfortable.

What is Conscious Sedation?

Conscious sedation utilizes medications that reduce anxiety and pain, putting patients in a deeply relaxed state which typically causes sleep. Patients under conscious sedation can be awakened if needed and maintain their breathing. Conscious sedation can be performed with both oral and IV administration routes.

What is the difference between Oral and IV sedation?

While IV or (intravenous sedation) medications are supplied directly through the patient’s IV line and produce an immediate response and well-controlled sedation, oral sedation involves pills that are eaten on an empty stomach.

Which medicines are administered during conscious sedation?

When oral sedation is utilized, anxiety-reducing drugs (benzodiazepines) are generally used. Along with anxiety reducers, potent painkillers, anti-inflammatories, and other drugs can be administered by IV sedation, enhancing drowsiness and hastening recovery.
